Do you have public liabilty insurance?
Of course! Lynsey has a fully comprehensive insurance policy to cover all unexpected events! Lynsey hopes to never have to make a claim, but it's there for peace of mind, just in case the worst ever happens! Some venues require entertainers to have this insurance and may ask to see proof, like a certificate. Check this before you book your entertainment just incase the venue won't allow them to play otherwise.
Is all your electrical equipment PAT tested with safety stickers and a certificate?
Definitely! Lynsey has all items tested and a certificate available to send to clients/venues if required. Be aware that when you book an artist or a DJ into some venues, the venue may require to see proof of PAT testing and ask to see the entertainers certificates. If this isn't available, they may not let you hire them. Check through the T & C's on the wedding venue contract or ask them first before you book anyone to prevent problems later on once you've paid deposits out. All equipment that has been PAT tested will also display green and white stickers that are dated from when the testing was carried out! Items under 12 months old won't require it.
What type of music do you sing?
Lynsey will sing music from the 1950's, up to the present day including classics from ... The Carpenters, Adele, Cher, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and ABBA! Lynsey caters for the youngsters plus your nan's and will have you singing and dancing the day or night away!
Are you available for bookings during the day too?
Yes, providing Lynsey is given enough reasonable notice to make arrangements. She has sang at Weddings and special events during the day in the past on a number of occasions.
Do you charge by the hour or the day?
Lynsey will charge a set rate depending on a few things such as - the day of the week, type of occasion and whether you need her for singing only, or disco too. Please get yourself a personal quote as your fee may be different to someone else's. Please visit the wedding packages page for an idea on what services are available.
Do i have to pay a deposit to book you?
Lynsey normally asks for a small deposit to secure the booking and cover any admin costs incurred. You will then receive a contract confirming everything and it is also your receipt of payment. Deposits are non-refundable if the client cancels the booking after 14 days. If Lynsey needs to cancel it due to matters out of her control, all deposits will be fully repaid.
